Well then, you might want to keep an eye on these Sanrio silicone zip pouches being released by 7-Eleven.

Sanrio Characters Silicone Zip Pouches

From 9 June to 10 August, Sanrio characters silicone zip pouches will be available for redemption at 7-Eleven outlets, while stocks last.

You’ll be happy to know that this time, 7-Eleven will be welcoming back eight of the most popular characters: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll, Pompmpurin, Badtz Maru, and Pekkle Duck.

According to 7-Eleven, these silicone pouches are called “pouches of fun”.

And fun indeed—the design for these zip pouches is both cute yet stylish.

If you’re a grown-up fan of the Sanrio family that gets embarrassed when the Sanrio merchandise gets a little bit too kawaii, you can rest easy with these silicone pouches—its design would appeal to both adults and kids.

The pouches all have a minimalistic design, with each silicone zip pouch being made out of “two delicate pastel tones with clean lines”. The widely popular Hello Kitty comes in “spotless white and soft pink”, while the My Melody pouch is in the colours of “a beautiful blush and sky blue”.

As for the other characters, Keroppi comes in its usual lime green with a dash of red. The Little Twin Stars pouch comes in pastel purple and sunshine yellow, the Cinnamoroll pouch in a “refreshing mint green and pale pink”, and the Pekkle Duck pouch in baby blue and white. To finish off, the Pompompurin pouch comes in its traditional soft yellow and brown, while the Badtz Maru pouch is obviously, black and yellow.

The best part of its design?

It’s reusable and washable! In this time amidst a worldwide pandemic, what more could you ask for?

At 12cm tall, these silicone zip pouches can be used to “hold keys, coins, hand sanitisers and even lipsticks”. They also contain a loop at the top to allow for easy hooking to other items, or to hold on to when you’re doing a short coffee run.

How to Earn Stamps to Exchange

At this point, you might already be clamouring in your seats, screaming the one question at your screen: “How do I redeem these pouches?”

These Sanrio silicone zip pouches have been released as part of 7-Eleven’s Shop and Earn stamps programme. Naturally, to get these pouches you would have to earn stamps.

Customers earn a stamp with every S$5 spent at 7-Eleven outlets. For every 20 stamps earned, customers can redeem them for a randomly packed zip pouch. So that’s about S$100 spent for each zip pouch.

For all the broke people out there, there’s another option to redeem those cute pouches: earn 5 stamps, and top it up with $8.90. This second option only requires you to spend S$33.90, as compared to the S$100 of the first option.

Additionally, selected Star products in stores will earn you two stamps instead of one, so do keep a lookout for them!

7-Eleven also reminds customers that “transactions such as cigarettes, parking coupons, bill payments and top-up services, lottery sales, pre-orders, food delivery app orders, and figurine redemptions with a cash top-up do not qualify for stamp collection.”

Though the pouches will be available for redemption until 10 August, stamps can only be earned for eight weeks from 9 June until 3 August.

Other Merchandise Available 

On top of these cute pouches, 7-Eleven brings Sanrio fans, even more, merchandise to gush about.

Merchandise such as lunch boxes, tumblers, tote bags, and even umbrellas will be available in over 340 7-Eleven outlets across Singapore.

I can already foresee the long queues all over the country.
