If there’s one thing durian lovers can agree on, it’s that they’re pretty pricey in Singapore.
And the amount you’re willing to spend typically isn’t enough to satisfy your durian cravings.
Whenever anyone asked me what I want to be when I was a kid, I’d say I want to be a durian seller.
Because that’s when you can eat all the durians you want without having to cough up a lung and a half for it.
Right?
Well, if you share in my glorious dream, know this: there’s no need to be a durian seller.
Because in the east of Singapore, there exist this godly durian stall that lets you eat all the D24 durian you’d ever want for less than $40.
Yes.
$40.
Located in the eastern part of Singapore at Bedok is a durian stall called Majestic Durian.
And they’ve majestically entered our lives by offering an all-you-can-eat XOD24 Durian Buffet at the cost of:
And that’s not the best part.
If your kid is under 12 years old, or your father/grandfather/mother/grandmother is above 55 years old?
They’ll get to eat for free.
All they have to do is to show proof (i.e. identification) to enjoy the buffet.
Of course, with such a good deal going on, what’s stopping people from chionging for it, right?
So make sure you call them at 8630 7351 for reservations before making your way down.

Now, if you’re an avid (and long time) lover of durian, you’d know that just like humans, they’re not all created equal.
So there you are, wondering, will you pay $38 for crappy durian?
Seeing as how we’re trying to get our very fat boss to send us down for a New Year Durian buffet after the new year dinner, we checked out their reviews page.

It comes as no surprise that Mr. Bezos and his family has homes around United States. He owns a lake house, which is estimated to be worth about US$25 million (about S$33 million). His neighbors include Silicon Valley’s tycoon Bill Gates.
Not to mention, his Washington D.C. home belongs to a neighborhood where previous United States President Obama and Ivanka Trump resides. Said home was bought for about US$23 million (about S$31 million).
However, the state of his properties may change due to the recent announcement of his divorce.

His contributions to space exploration is his most ambitious venture yet. You read that right! Mr. Bezos has a passion for aerospace.
His love of space led him to finance the recovery of the remains of the Apollo booster-rocket engines. The engines were located from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, which is about 14,000 feet down. At his request, NASA donated a restored F-1 booster to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Moreover, he believes that his company Blue Origin can make affordable tourism possible!
The actualization of this passion project may commercialize space exploration. Who knew that having a honeymoon in outer space can actually become a valid option in the future?
According to the reports published on The New York Times, he is selling about US$1 billion in Amazon stock a year to fund this venture.
