Lobang from: https://goodyfeed.com/dont-say-bojio-up-to-30-off-at-over-25-japanese-restaurants-from-now-till-31-aug-2019/

If you love all things Japanese because a) you’re either fascinated by the intricate and rich culture.

b) The scenic country land itself.

or C) you’re just an anime-loving weeaboo, you’d definitely have tried and promptly fell in love with the exquisite cuisine that the Land of The Rising Sun has to offer.

After all, Japan’s also well-known as the Land of Good Food, as I’d like to call it.

Most people’s mouth would start to water upon seeing words like tempura, ramen or sashimi, for we as Singaporeans love all kinds of delicious food.

Except, It’s Pricey

As much as we wish we could eat those scrumptious dishes on a daily basis, sometimes it’s just not that easy on the wallet, for good quality ingredients come at a high price. Flying to Japan to enjoy these delicacies is an even more expensive option.

But as you might’ve seen just two months ago, we gave you a whole long list of Japanese food deals in Singapore, like the nice people we are.

This time, Goody Feed’s back with more goody deals for you.

You can thank us later when you’re lapping up some quality hot ramen soup with your wallet still heavy in your pocket. So nice, right?

Say sayonara to cai png and konnichiwa to discounted Japanese food.

1. SAMA Curry and Cafe

Japanese curry’s already one of the top favourite dishes to have and everyone’s definitely familiar with it, but how about Japanese curry in the form of soup?

Image: Sama Curry

First originating from the Hokkaido city of Sapporo, it’s a dish meant to warm people up in the midst of the cold winter temperatures there.

You can customise your soup curry to however you like, with choices such as seafood or beef curry, followed by selecting between different flavoured ramen broths as its base.

If you thought spice levels at places like Monster Curry were intense, the spice levels here range from 0 to 30, for those who shy away from even a drop of spiciness or the fire-breathing dragon that you are.

And the best part? It’s completely affordable!

Who doesn’t love a good old bowl of thick sliced pork and lavish sauce over a warm bed of rice?

Image: Facebook / Tokachi Tontaro

The Buta Don, a timeless homecooked speciality in Hokkaido, was a dish meant for tired workers, especially manual labourers, to find warm relief after a long day at work.

Tokachi Tontaro uses quality pork hailed from the fields of Tokachi prefecture to bring this beloved dish to Singaporeans as a reward at the end of the day. The pork slices are chargrilled to a crisp and succulent perfection upon order that is set to tantalise your taste buds. I guess I know what my dinner plans are tonight.

Don’t Say Bojio: Exclusive McDonald’s Coupons in Causeway Point Up to 45% Off

Lobang from: https://goodyfeed.com/dont-say-bojio-exclusive-mcdonalds-coupons-in-causeway-point-up-to-45-off/

If you’ve been to Causeway Point, you’ll know two things.

Firstly, it’s crowded AF. Go there during peak hours and you’d see about six million people roaming in the mall, unlike other malls that look like a ghost town.

Secondly, the McDonald’s outlet that faces the MRT station (now it also faces Jollibee) is always full of people despite the fact that there’s another outlet within walking distance in Civic Centre.

And now, with these coupons that are exclusive to the outlet in Causeway Point?

You can bet that those buskers who sang near the entrance are going to make a killing.

Exclusive McDonald’s Online Coupons

For reasons only known to the folks from Causeway Point and McDonald’s, an array of coupons has suddenly landed in Causeway Point’s Facebook Page.

And yes, for those people asking: It’s only valid in Causeway Point. So don’t bother trying it in the Civic Centre outlet.

It’s unknown why this exists, but given that it comes from the official Causeway Point Facebook Page, we’re going to assume that this is as legit as McSpicy giving people laosai.

It’s valid until 31 August 2019, so whether this is ammo against the newly opened Jollibee right in front of them or just mere coincidence is up to anyone’s guess.

Here are the terms and conditions lest you can’t read it (and for me to hit my word limit):

  • Valid from 22 June till 31 August 2019
  • Only at McDonald’s Causeway Point
  • Only one redemption per coupon, while stocks last
  • Redemption of coupon to be made only through front counters of main restaurant
  • Not available for McDelivery or with other offers

You know what? I’m just going to take a look there tonight and if it’s too crowded…I’ll just turn and head to the Jollibee that’s just a few steps away.

The Best Prepaid SIM Card Options For Tourists

Lobang from: http://www.moneydigest.sg/the-best-prepaid-sim-card-options-for-tourists/

Let us be honest! In this day and age, it is hard to live without mobile data. Most of our daily lives center around the convenience of the Internet. Moreover, we find pleasure in sharing our adventures and experiences thru social media. This is why most jet-setters secure their pocket Wi-Fi before or after landing to their destination.

Having your own prepaid sim card with data allows you to navigate the area and to interact with the locals no matter where you are. If your foreign friends want to visit you in Singapore, here are some of the prepaid sim card options that you can suggest.

Firstly, it is important to note that there are only three main telecommunication companies in Singapore. These three include Singtel, Starhub, and M1. Lastly, these telecos offer tourist sim cards that can last you for a week or so.

The good news is that tourists can enjoy about 100 GB worth of local data and 100 local texts from all the three telecos. You read that right!

M1’s Tourist SIM, valid for 7 days, is priced at S$12. You can indulge on 500 minutes of local calls and 20 minutes of international calls. However, this sim does not include the roaming data.

Next up is Starhub! Starhub Travel Prepaid SIM will also take you back by S$12. It is the cheapest option with the most value. Why is this so? For one, it includes 500 minutes of local calls and 30 minutes of international calls. Additionally, it includes 1 GB worth of roaming data.

Lastly, you must highly consider the Singtel hi!Tourist EZ-Link SIM Card. This merges the need for transportation and communication. You see, this prepaid card has a stored EZ-link value of S$3. Buying a separate EZ-link card would cost you an additional of about S$15. What’s more? You can get multiple benefits tied to this prepaid card such as 25% off the Sentosa attractions.

The price of this prepaid card is S$18 including 500 minutes worth of local calls and 30 minutes of international calls. Moreover, it has 1 GB worth of roaming data. Imagine how much savings you can acquire by fusing all these services!

The bottom line is that different people can have different mobile usage when they travel. Examine your priorities and preferences when choosing the best prepaid sim card for your foreign friend.
