Somehow, some way, the old-school EZ-Link card has become a huge necessity in our lives.
And we don’t even have to look far to figure out why, considering how we use the card to perform a number of actions:
- Getting on public transport services
- Payment in convenience stores
- Purchase from vending machine kiosks
Indeed, while unimaginable a few years back, the EZ-Link has come a long way to evolve from this ‘random bus-tapping card’ in our arsenal, to the ‘must-have or die’ card in our wallet.
How times have changed.
But here’s the thing
Considering how important the EZ-Link card has become, it would only make sense for you to start paying serious attention to it.
“Like how?” you wonder.
Well, for starters, since it has become such a vital component of your everyday life, you might want to consider giving it a makeover.
Treat it like how you will treat yourself, you know?
“But… I’ve no idea what I want it to look like! My life’s a mess, and my card’s a mess too!”
Well, if you’re confused on where to begin with…
How about these cute Sanrio characters to get you started?
Featuring a whole host of your favourite Sanrio characters, these EZ-Link cards are newly designed and retail at just $10 each with… wait for it…
A load value of $5!
Yes, folks, you’re essentially paying just $5 for this cutesy, new design!
Now, does life rock or what?
Incidentally, the original post on EZ-Link’s Facebook page has gone viral, with over 700 comments, 900 shares and counting.
And as one might’ve surmised, some were gushing over how cute the card was.
The majority of Netizens, however, questioned on the whereabouts of sales locations. This is probably because the cards will be introduced to 7-11 stores on a progressive basis.
Some, however, were evidently unlucky in their exploits.
While others struck gold on the first try.
After reading through the comments section, however, it seems that the card-available stores (at the current moment) are as follows:
- Sengkang’s 7-11 (At Compass One)
- Braddell MRT
- Bugis Middle Road (beside Hotel 81)
- Suntec 7-11 (Beside Morganfield)
On the other hand, stores that are not selling (or haven’t stocked yet) are as follows:
- Changi City Point
- Ang Mo Kio Blk 339
- Depot Road BLK 108
Note that the lists are based on hearsay.
But anyways, what’re you waiting for?
If you love Sanrio, or just find the card design impossibly cute, I’m telling you;
You gotta get it.
Yes, even if you’re using SimplyGo.
But of course, seeing how the cards will be introduced slowly to every 7-11 store, I guess you’ll have to test your luck at your nearest 7-11 outlet. Though considering how you’re a Goody Feed reader…
I’m sure you’ll have an abundance of luck.
