UOB Bank has partnered SingSaver to offer up to $300 rebates on your recurring bills! With most of us staying at home during this circuit breaker period, it is inevitable that we will chalk up higher bills during this period. Yes, we are talking about higher bills on your electricity, water, telcos and other digital services.
You can now take advantage of this promotion to cover these cost. Here’s how.
Sign up for any of the UOB credit card here to qualify.
- First 50 new cardmembers each day will get up to $300 rebates on their first 3 bills
- 51st new applicants onwards will get $50-$100 cashback on any 5 transactions
Existing cardholders will also get $20 to $100 cashback on any 5 transactions.
If you refer to the T&Cs, UOB has specified that they will offer the rebates based on the first 3 qualifying transactions.
What the the qualifying transactions then? Basically you need to make payment to your bill to any of the selected merchants such as SP Services, Singtel, Netflix, SPH, iTunes and so on. Here’s the full list:
They have also mentioned that if you pay your bill via AXS or SAM machine, it will not be counted, so make sure you pay via the merchant’s online payment gateway.
Tip: UOB will rebate you based on the first 3 transactions for a period of 3 consecutive months so make sure you charge the highest bills to it for at least 3 months before you charge other bills to the card. Usually, utilities and telcos bills are the highest in most households, so just charge your them to the card. You can also make use of this promotion to charge $100 to your iTunes every month for 3 months.

If you sign up directly from the bank’s website, they are giving S$150 and $230 cash credit for the UOB Privi American Express Card and UOB One Card respectively.
However, you need to be new-to-bank cardmember or deposit customers to qualify for their welcome gift. If you have existing card or deposit accounts with UOB Bank, you will not get anything.
For customers who sign up via SingSaver, however, will get up to $300 cash rebates for their recurring bills. Existing cardmember who applied can still get $20 cash (for UOB One) or $100 cashback (for UOB Privi American Express).
